PT Pelayanan Listrik Nasional Tarakan - PLN Tarakan or commonly abbreviated as "PLN Tarakan" is a Tarakan-based electricity company. PLN Tarakan operates primarily as an electricity supplier in the area of East Kalimantan. Its business include electricity power plant and distribution. PLN Tarakan is a directly-owned subsidiary company of PT PLN (Persero), a leading state-owned electricity power company in Indonesia. PT PLN (Persero) is the majority shareholder in PLN Tarakan with a 99.99 percent stake. The Company has its legal domicile in Tarakan East Kalimantan and its head office is registered at Jl P Diponogoro No 1 Tarakan East Kalimantan 77114.

According to PT PLN (Persero) Annual Report 2014 as cited by JobsCDC.com, PLN Tarakan registered total operating income of Rp 270 billion at the end of 2014, while the total operating expense was Rp 287 billion. From such figures, PLN Tarakan reported total loss of Rp 17 billion in 2014.

Requirements

• Backhround in Undergraduate Degree or equivalent (S1/D.IV), majoring in the following discipline
• Electro Engineering, Power Lines, Power System (Code : S1/ELE - TAR).
• Mechanical Engineering (Code : S1/MES - TAR).
• Marketing Management, Commerce Administration, Business Administration, Office Administration (Code : S1/MAN - TAR).
• Informatics Engineering (Code : S1/INF - TAR).
• Law (Code : S1/HKM - TAR).
• Unmarried status (single) and willing not to get married during the "Diklat Prajabatan" training program.
• Preferably Male.
• Birth in 1990 and thereafter for Undergraduate Degree level and birth in 1992 and thereafter for Associate Degree level.
• Have an outstanding academic record with Grade Point Average (GPA)
• GPA ≥ 3.00 for S1/MAN - TAR, S1/INF - TAR, S1/HKM - TAR.
• GPA ≥ 2.75 for S1/MES - TAR, S1/ELE - TAR.
